SKS Engineers was authorized to begin work on the first Huddle House location in Decatur in February 2022. Working on behalf of Macon 217 LLC, we generated a geotechnical report for the site of the future 2700 square foot, one story building. We noted this site to be remarkably flat and were able to recommend stripping, filling, and re-grading of this site to allow adequate drainage, preventing costly future water damage. We additionally provided architectural, structural engineering and mechanical/electrical/plumbing services including an electrical floor and lighting plan, a natural gas and domestic water plan, and a stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP).
