In October 2019, SKS Engineers was invited courtesy of Brewer Construction to begin performing quality control during the construction of the new state-of-the-art Mueller brass foundry. We would randomly observe the delivery of structural steel to ensure compliance with shop drawings, inspect HVAC, wiring, plumbing, and other building subsystems for conformance with the architectural design, and and regularly take concrete samples and test them for strength in our own laboratory, as well as a variety of other inspections requested by the Mueller Co.
SKS Engineers continued inspections until the foundry’s opening in March 2022.
